The hotel is conveniently located in Fludir and was for me the ideal stop on the Golden circle to spend the night on my two day tour of the cirlcle. The room was nice and clean and you could even go outside to the garden with hot tub. The hotel has a restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner but be aware that you need to reserve in advance to have dinner (which I did). The hotel has parking on site and a additional bonus across the street : a gas station. Great to fill up to keep your tank full as gas stations may be further apart from each other as you are used to when outside of Reykjavik.

Convenient location on Golden Circle. Loved the hot tub access (altho having the robes already placed in the rooms versus having to ask for them at reception would have been helpful). We had dinner there (it was a Monday night and most places were closed) which was good. Breakfast buffet was very generous (best we had on our trip). Room was quite warm (window only opened a bit) so a fan in the room would be appreciated!

The staff was helpful and friendly. We really liked the "elves house" theme of the buildings. It was a little darker than I'm used to, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was especially tasty, with a good variety of options to choose from. We never found time to try the hot tubs, but they looked very cozy and relaxing.

This is a lovely hotel with a midcentury vibe, in a beautiful small town conveniently located close to numerous natural attractions. There are 2 small hot tubs accessible directly through the bathrooms of the rooms on the courtyard sides of the halls. Everything is very clean, and the ambiance in the rooms is warm and soothing. There is a decent restaurant within the hotel, and a lovely park a few steps away. Highly recommend!

A very well located 4 star hotel in the midst of the Golden circle enabling you to see many of the Top 10 sights. Would recommend it for a 1 or 2 night stay.|Rooms were comfortable and the hotel has a very nice restaurant which you would need to prebook.

I really liked the location and it was a cute hotel, but I'm a little disappointed by this experience. The quality of the room was worse than expected, and the breakfast was not worth it in my opinion. Also the customer service could have been better. I would recommend this hotel if you are only stopping for a night or two but I personally don't think I will be back.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. Very late when you are traveling around the golden circle. They refused to refund us for the breakfast. The hot tubs were not warm enough, and the bathrobe had dark stains. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its location. Everything else was below expectations, considering the price you pay.

We stayed one night at the Hill Hotel and it was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were also nice. The only downside was the staff who wasn't very friendly and helpful.
