Summary: Fantastic, super clean and uncrowded campsite at a reasonable price, with showers (and hair dryers) included, rentable towels, fully equipped kitchen with pans, stoves, microwaves and kettles, located at the start of the town with a great chance of seeing the aurora, and close to grocery stores. Owner was super friendly and accommodating too!

Campsite per person - 3000 ISK (with shower)
Towels - 200 ISK (depends on total no. of ppl)
Washer - 1000 ISK
Dryer - 1000 ISK

Best features:
- Aurora sighting at night!
- Clean facilities with no crowds/queues
- Excellent, friendly and helpful host who’s running a small family business
- Rentable towels and hair dryers
- Games in the kitchen/common area

Camping agréable, beau cadre auprès d'un étang, accueil sympathique.
Équipement au top, très très propre, sanitaire, douche, salle commune très bien équipée, micro-ondes, plaque électrique, bouilloire électrique. Tout ça compris dans le prix. Salle buanderie pour lavage, séchage très bien équipée, payante.

Wonderful campsite! Very clean, new facilities, the staff was very friendly! It has a big kitchen with electric stoves, laundry on site, showers and clean restrooms! I definitely recommend. This one has been my favorite campsite so far!

This is a clean quiet guesthouse. The rooms are spacious and spotless with comfortable beds. The shared kitchen is extremley well equipped and easy to share. There is a large common area. Loved our stay here. It

Das Guesthouse ist sehr schlicht gehalten. Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet und in der Küche gab es alles was man zum Kochen oder Frühstück vorbereiten braucht. Außen hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf den See und Einkaufsläden sowie Tankstellen sind direkt in der Nähe.

Guesthouse en totale autonomie (arrivée et départ). Des chambres spacieuses et confortables avec salle de bain privative . Cuisine ttoute équipée à disposition. Rien à redire. Nous recommandons les Vok baths à proximité et la cascade d'Hengifoss.

The best campsite we found in Iceland, super clean, we came two times this summer and all time even during crowd morning was so good maintenance , quiet and clean.
Every detail it's under good supervision every day.
If you come in this area, you shouldn't sleep this place, we really suggest this place, and the price it's Worthing, 6000 isk per day, what it's still a good deal in Iceland.
