We went to The Icelandic Punk Museum on our last day. It had a ton of history throughout such a small space. I really liked the multiple headphones where you could listen to different artists.

I’m not really into Punk, Rock is what holds my fancy. But, I decided to check out this place since the location looked interesting. It was worth it! The history written all over the walls, the drum set and guitars around, the posters. The host is a cool quirky man, his passion for Punk oozes from the way he’s kept the place. I’d say it’s a very interesting part of your Reykjavik experience.

Это забавное место, некогда было общественным туалетом, но позже переоборудовано в панк-музей. Помещение крошечное, и экспонатов не очень много, но зато отличный вайб и атмосфера. Отдельное спасибо хозяину музея - он отличный собеседник.
Вход стоит 1500 крон.

Very atmospheric, it was kinda unusual and unexpected experience as we discovered the place completely by accident

Probably one of the best museums in Iceland exhibiting a little know part of key cultural Icelandic history to international visitors like me. Very informative, very punky!!!! And they have punk music there for free to listen to. Very much recommend and very fairly priced being easily half price of all other museums in Reykjavik

If you're into to punk music GO. Even if you're not into punk music, the history was written all over the walls and it's very interesting for all music/history lovers. Super cool spot owned by someone who is very clearly passionate about it.

A short and sweet adventure into the history of Icelandic punk, situated in what was once a public toilet. Lots of infomation to read on the walls, some great music you can listen to & film footage to watch. Can probably do the entire thing in 15 minutes if you're a fast reader!
