Getting my shoot done was absolutely the highlight of my entire trip to Iceland and one of the coolest things I've ever done. They strive for period costumes and to get exactly the kind of mood and recreation you want. Everyone I've shown the pictures to has been so impressed, and I was too! This is definitely the best I've ever looked and an amazing experience you MUST have!

This was my second time going to Mink. My wife and I scheduled a session in late 2021 and had such a blast with Guomann that we decided if we ever came back with our kids that we would schedule another shoot.
Coming back this time we had a tight schedule but they accommodated us and this experience was equally fantastic. Not only are the pictures over the top and otherworldly we also enjoyed Guomann’s knowledge of Viking lore and his stories.
I highly recommend them. Their location is so easy if you are staying in downtown Reykjavik and you’ll bring home a souvenir that looks great framed on the wall.

Ryan was incredible, he made me feel super comfortable and welcome. I'm not very photogenic but he managed to get some really lovely pictures. The props and costumes were also gorgeous. A must do if you're visiting Reykjavik!

We had a photoshoot the first day we were in Iceland. Exhausted and frazzled from traveling, we were concerned if we would still enjoy the experience. We were put at ease by Ryan who crafted amazing portraits of us. The session was comfortable and we had a lot of fun dressing up as vikings. We felt invigorated and powerful in front of the camera - even though I initially felt awkward. The photos came out amazing and he gave us access to every photo he shot. I loved the studio, which was cozy and felt personal. It was an overall a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who comes to Iceland. It made for a wonderful souvenir and a memorable experience. We look forward to coming back in the future to do it again.

I have to tell you the look on my husband's face when I booked this photo shoot was hilarious, bit he humors me and does what I tell him 😉 😉 anyway...we had a 10am session. My husband had the time of his life. He even asked if we go vack can we get another shoot with a different look. We let the photographer pick what would look good. Not only did the over 200 photos turn out amazing. He gave us a great lesson on his family's ancestors and what each item was. Don't buy stupid stuff you won't use again or waste tour money on cheap stuff. Invest in the photo memories. 📸 we took the photos and had a link within hours for us to view and download. Feel comfortable and make priceless memories.

This was a fun and different experience. Guðmann was excellent and not only taking some great photos but explaining about your character and the Vikings. I enjoyed the photo shoot and love the pictures taken!

My husband and I visited the Mink viking gallery while on holiday in Reykjavik and we had the best time. We are both huge fans of the tv show Vikings which is what initially attracted us.
Everything about the experience is so much fun. The costumes and props are amazing (I wished I could keep so many different things) and then the experience of the photo shoot itself was also loads of fun. Our photographer was also really knowledgeable and taught us so many new things during our visit too.
Our photos turned out amazing and we're both so so happy with everything.
We booked a package which included a total of 12 photos but they were so good that we ended up buying extras on top afterwards.
If you want to do something a bit different whilst in Iceland then I would 100% recommended a visit here.

We weren't really sure what to expect, but the experience was fabulous. We were transformed into strong Viking women, while learning about Viking culture. Lots of great photos taken, both individually and together. They were every bit as good as those featured on the website. I would highly recommend this experience.
