We went to Hvammsvik to relax in an Icelandic thermal bath. We went on the advice of our hotel concierge and could not have been more pleased. Many pools at many different temperature ranges, and if your brave enough, you can take a dip in the cold, cold, north Atlantic.

If you have the time, and want to luxuriate in thermal pools surrounded by volcanic pumas and stunning scenery, you should go.

We only visited the hot springs in late November. The water was very nice and warm. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If we were to visit Iceland again, this would be the first thing on our bucket list

We were connecting flights @ Keflavik & looking for a hot springs experience while spending just one day in Iceland. Came across Hvammsvik in a local magazine which highlighted a secluded spot 30 minutes from Reykjavik with sensational views. It was an easy drive & we arrived early. Overall, the experience exceeded expectations. Great staff, clean dressing room, outfits provided. After changing into our suits, we were in very close proximity to several tiered pools, all with different temperatures. The natural ‘steam room’ was epic!!! Great value too!!!

Al pagar te ofrecen diferentes precios... El más económico que son 46€ aprox. te permite estar en un vestuario diferente al otro precio, un aspecto muy negativo ya que es súper pequeño, suelo mojado, taquillas dónde solo cabe móvil y cartera, techo roto como se puede ver en la fotografía.. en definitiva pasando muchísimo frío. Luego te pasas por el otro vestuario y se está súper calentito, grande y con todas las comodidad. Por precio, hay termas con mejores condiciones o al menos mismo vestuario para todos aunque no quieras alquilar una toalla

Disappointed. I paid for the comfort which I thought would be in line with sky lagoon. Had a lovely visit there and decided to try another. It's more rural than I realized when booking. Here you have to walk down a gravel path to get to the spa. It is a metal building This one does not provide towels except 1 towels with the comfort package and after you shower before getting in the spa it's wet and because you have to walk outside in the wind and cold to get to the spa. You're going to bring the towel. There was nothing comforting about using a wet towel. The dressing room is very small . The showers aren't private as the glass is opaque. The spas are only about 2 feet deep so you have to sit and can't walk around unless I knee- thigh deep. They must of jacked the prices up during are visit catching the blue lagoon spill overs. Our original reservation before Sky Lagoon was at Blue Lagoon but it was closed due to seismic activity. At the least they should provide towels and improve the dressing room.. Lovely area but I really felt ripped off after experiencing Sky Lagoon and wish I had had the opportunity to visit Blue Lagoon.

We absolutely loved this place… so much so, that we are returning again this December. So secluded…. So picturesque ❤️ so romantic. Would recommend it over and over again!

Beautiful hot springs with an unmatched view of the surrounding mountains. Not too far from Reykjavik either, which made it easy to get to with a rental car (but it looks like there is a shuttle as well). Highly recommend stopping by!
