部屋は狭いですが必要なものは全て揃っており、バスローブもありました。
外にはジャグジーが２つあります。
温度は低い（多分36度くらい？）ですが、長時間入るにはちょうど良いです。
Wi-Fiも入るので、ジャグジーにスマホを持っていき、Youtubeを見ながらゆっくりと入ることができました。
朝ごはんの種類は少なめでした。

Our room was cramped and dingy. Said it had a garden view but it just looked over the hot tub. They have self check in so no one really to answer questions and the person in the morning for breakfast seemed very uninterested and definitely unwelcoming.

Stay: July 7–8, 2025 – part of the “Iceland in Style” tour (via Nordic)

Hotel North, Akureyri — a complete failure on every level. We walked into the room and immediately called Nordic. That’s how bad it was.

The room reeked of mold and sewage. No air circulation whatsoever. Dirty sheets. And the shower curtain? Absolutely revolting — stained, smelly, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Hygiene here is not just questionable — it’s nonexistent.

What made it even worse: Nordic told us on the phone that the very person who sold us this “Iceland in Style” package had stayed here themselves — and apparently thought it was “good.” That alone makes you seriously question Nordic’s standards.

We’re now weeks later (it’s almost the end of July), and Nordic still claims they’re waiting for a response from the hotel. No follow-up, no resolution. Just silence.

If this is what “style” looks like according to Nordic, I’d hate to see their definition of budget.
Avoid Hotel North at all costs — and think twice before trusting Nordic’s recommendations.

Las habitaciones no tiene aire acondicionado o bueno al menos en la que me quedé 109 no. Además que la casa se siente caliente y húmeda.
Cómo para pasar 1 noche esta excelente, tiene buenas vistas. El agua huele a azufre (huevo podrido) no me bañé el olor hizo que me diera malestar estomacal.

Unser Zimmer war leider nicht so schön. Mag sein, dass es andere gibt, aber unser Zimmer war klein und das Bad war gar nicht gut...es stank aus den Abflüssen und der Abfluss in der Dusche war verstopft, so dass nach kurzer Zeit das Wasser in der Dusche stand.
Lage und Frühstück war gut. Für eine Nacht alles in allem okay.

The pictures are very misleading. The rooms are very small, like a college dorm. There is no air circulation so we opened the windows and got eaten alive by mosquitos. There is no reception or anyone on property that we could tell. The breakfast area looks out on the overflowing trash bin so that was appetizing. Overall, we regret booking this place.
