Gistum i 2 nætur á þessum yndislega stað ||Skemmtileg og umfram all mjög snyrtileg herbergi með frábæru útsyni út á fljótið gott var að skella sér i heitu pottana i kúldanum þjonusta og viðmót gestgjafana var alveg frábær . Maturinn var mjög góður og get ég ekki hætt að hugsa um frábæra hreindýraborgarann . Getum sko alveg mælt með þessum stað og eigum örugglega eftir að koma aftur takk kærlega fyrir yndislega helgi.||||||Jona vignisd ||Jon Gestsson

Nice clean rooms, very nice owners. The ONLY reason for less than 5 stars was the size of the room (when compared to some others we stayed in), but it was completely adequate and comfortable for our stay. I would be happy to visit again. Lake View was is preferred. It was a nice place to see the Northern Lights and our dinner, reindeer burger, was delicious. The owners were very hard working to ensure everything was memorable for our stay,

A very charming hotel with great views of the lake. The owners are very gracious and the inclusive breakfast was amazing. Cooked to order omelets!||I highly recommend the lake view rooms. All of our 7 rooms were very clean and the staff was very attentive to our needs. If you notice a smell coming from the room, do not be discouraged. It is the smell of sulfur from the water and is typically due to the geothermal hot water used throughout the country. This did not discourage our stay at all. ||The beds were comfortable and we had a very restful sleep.||The hotel is a very short distance from downtown Egilsstadir.||One item to note is that they will be expanding this beautiful hotel in the near future to add more rooms.||5 star stay in my opinion.

Absolutely lovely hidden gem! Beautiful, quiet surroundings. Great service. Our room was facing the lake and had lovely views. However, just know that the walking path to those rooms is gravel/loose but flat. So, if you need something easier to get in an out of for accessibility reasons, choose the other side of the hotel. The service was exceptional and food was delicious. Would definitely go back again.

We had an amazing time here. The rooms and bathroom are a nice size, and feel clean and modern. The hotel itself is on a gorgeous lakeside property. The staff are very nice and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were both great. To cap it off, we could see the Northern Lights from the hot tub!

Location.. Wonderful view, quiet.
The lady in the breakfast was very nice and patient. I liked Their breakfast with eggs and healthy options. So far our favorite (from 4 hotels).
The bed was comfortable and The hot tub was a nice to have.
I just Don't understand why there isn't any TV, when in booking they have. There is the sensation that there is something missing in room like a kettle for tea.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf den See. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück war eines der besten Frühstücks, die wir hier hatten. Auch das Abendessen war mega lecker. Doch das beste ist das super freundliche Personal. Einfach ein schönes Erlebnis.
