We had the pleasure of staying at Bægisá, and it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to Iceland. Nestled in a stunning, remote location, the property offers breathtaking views of the Icelandic countryside, allowing us to fully disconnect from the hustle of everyday life. The peacefulness of the area is unmatched, making it the perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature.

The accommodations were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, even offering great recommendations for nearby activities and sights to explore.

Elisabeth is a truly amazing host. We are here now and enjoying every minute. She went above and beyond and made a cake for my boyfriends birthday(delicious!!!!). The room, as well as the entire guesthouse is spotless, roomy and comfortable. Don't miss out on this gem(of a place as well as host) if your are visiting Akureyri!

This is a charming little guest house located on a farm and run by a delightful woman who is extremely welcoming. It is in a remote location so she makes a delicious dinner for her guests. Breakfast was also excellent. I strongly recommend this guesthouse if traveling by.

This lovely guesthouse is a gem. The rooms are clean, warm and cosy. But the best part of the stay is the lovely host Elisabeth. She offered to prepare us dinner, because the stay is away from any other restaurants. She allowed us access to the washer and drier, so we could clean and dry our bathing suits and towels. All the little handmade details, the selected decorations and dishes give this place a special soul. The breakfast was delicious, with everything you could want. 10/10 would recommend this stay.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Gastgeberin Elisabeth empfangen. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und hatten das ganze Häuschen für uns alleine. Wir durften das Zimmer auslesen, es war klein aber super sauber. Betten tiptop, Badezimmer ebenso.|Das Frühstück war das Beste das wir in Island gegessen haben. Elisabeth hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Brot und Marmelade war selbstgemscht, super lecker. Ihre Kekse ein Hammer.|Diese Unterkunft können wir jedem empfehlen.

Wir waren 2 Tage im Gästehaus Baegisa. Das Haus ist liebevoll gestaltet und sauber. Zum Frühstück gibt es selbstgebackenes Brot, ausgemacht Marmelade und immer 1 kleine süße Überraschung. Besonders zu empfehlen Das Lamm vom eigenen Hof. Wir haben einmal Lamm und einmal Fisch, am Abend gegessen. Lecker. Liebe Elisabeth danke für den schönen Aufenthalt. Vielleicht kommen wir in 2 Jahren nochmal wieder.

This is the best guesthouse on our ring road trip! The room has private bathroom, very confortable bed. The breakfast is very good. All the handmade products from the owner Elisabeth are perfect : the soap, the woolen socks, the cookies, and so many other details. Elisabeth & her daughter are very welcoming and hearty.
