Beste guide til Island

Epic Iceland did a fabulous job of helping us put together our trip to Iceland. This was our first time to Iceland and they were indispensable. We were doing a self tour but needed help and logistics as it was our first time. We also wanted to go to remote highland areas and hike driving on F roads. They shaped a travel plan that ended up being one of epic adventure and unending beauty. We would not have been able to or know how to put together the trip without them. I highly recommend them for guided or self tour. Especially if it is your first time going to Iceland. They customized it to our interests and needs. We had a lot of hiking and time out in the Volcano Huts in Thorsmark and Landmannalauger with epic beauty in each. Time in Vik and Hofn and on the coast and at the most gorgeous Highland Resort in Kerlingarfjöll and at the stunningly remote Hveravellir Hut and geothermal area. We also hiked a Glacier, went in an Ice Cave and boat toured Glacier Lagoon. Their suggestions and daily recommendations were spot on and super helpful.

I’ve been following Epic Iceland for a few years and really appreciate the quality and depth of their reports! My most recent trip was a deep exploration of the f-roads of the southern highlands, in particular, 261, 210, 208, 233, 232 and the Hungurfit track! I drove Maelifell then 261 to the Hungurfit track and drove that across to 210 at 1am (July 2, 2025) and I literally could hear Igor’s comments running through my head as I navigated the terrain! GREAT JOB!

I consulted Epic Iceland extensively in planning my first trip to Iceland. In particular, I was influenced to get a super jeep and to travel many of the best roads and hikes. It was an unforgettable experience. We continued to refer to the website in-country to revise our travel plans as the weather shifted. I cannot speak highly enough of the content and advice provided. I would say it was a once in a lifetime experience, but why do it once! I will be back.
