CCP Games - Reykjavík

I've been part of the EVE Online universe for 16 years, and yesterday, during a trip to Reykjavík, I had the incredible chance to visit the CCP Games headquarters. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine enthusiasm – it felt just like stepping into the game itself. The offices were stunning, the team even more so. Their hospitality was unforgettable and only deepened my connection to the world of EVE. With EVE Vanguard on the horizon, my excitement is through the roof. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at CCP Games – masters of both immersive virtual worlds and real-world kindness.

I always wanted to visit the Studio where Eve Online is developed. So i drove there in the hope to see just a littlebit like a logo of CCP on the building or something to take a nice picture to say I was there 😂. But you know what ive got ? An amazing private tour trough the offices of CCP with Michael( best Name ever by the way 😜 ). Thank you SO much for taking your time to show us around. It was an amazing experience.

I have very mixed feelings about the people behind the moderation of the game, when Russian players (who are apparently favored - including having their own language in the game) can do completely whatever they want including using vulgarities and destroying someone's work when you report it, then completely nothing is done about it and when you start to press and inquire why? you get banned (on a fifteen year old character) for allegedly insulting an admin.... It's easy to calculate how much money this character cost. No one responds to appeals sometimes you get a perfunctory melja after three months.... To the game world I will not refer, but it is worth leaning on the equality of treatment of players.
And then they are greatly surprised that out of more than 25tys of active players not even 2... Not counting bots...

CCP issues bans if they just don’t like you. They will not follow their own policy and rules, which means the significant investment in your characters will go to waste just because an employee does not like you personally.

Had the pleasure of visiting and meeting some of the CCP guys in their Reykjavik office.

It was an impromptu visit and I was accommodated and shown around the studio. I would recommend scheduling a tour in advance.

Everyone was awesome and I had a great time. Special thanks to CCP Swift and CCP Dopamine!

I said i love the game but i had mistaken this review of another game, Now on to my review of this game Eve. It seems that one group in the game is given much more influence and power than another group. Because of the imbalance of power currently in the game, one group does most of the kills and forces the other group to continue to replace their ships. The ships are expensive and due to expense I suspect that they leave after the loss of expensive ships. Please reconsider balancing out the power with the groups.

CCP allow grown men, hiding behind Alts, to blackmail & extort money from children as young as 12 in their game Eve Online.

They support team are terrible, also a bunch of grown men hiding behind Alts.

The developers (grown men hiding behind Alts) also play the game, which is a massive conflict of interest in a pay-to-play experience.

CCP are not regulated in the UK and seem to think they are above the law, their attitude towards their paying customers is bordering on negligence.

Poor customer service response times - to the point that one might even wonder if their tickets are simply being ignored. Can't recommend paying for the game as a result, so just do the free-to-play option if you must play EvE Online.
