Arctic Horses Farm in Grindavik is an enchanting experience for any horse enthusiast or nature lover. During my visit, it was evident that the horses are not just well-cared for but are also beautiful and intelligent creatures, radiating a peaceful and friendly aura that reflects the farm's serene environment.

The family that operates the farm displays an authentic passion and deep knowledge of their equine companions, which resonates in every aspect of the farm's operation. Engaging in conversations with them added a personal touch to the experience, making it all the more memorable.

The tour itself is exceptional value for money, not just for the interaction with the horses but also for the breathtaking views of the surrounding Icelandic landscape. They are thorough in providing safety equipment and clear, accessible explanations, ensuring that even beginners feel comfortable. Accompanied by an expert guide, all anxieties are eased, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the joy of horseback riding.

The convenience of a transfer service for guests staying in nearby locations like the Blue Lagoon or Grindavik adds to the farm's appeal. And, while my memory fails to recall specific names, the warmth of the staff and the presence of two adorable cats left a lasting impression.

We had a great trail ride on these gentle horses. The special tølt gait of Icelandic horses is very smooth and makes the ride comfortable and easy. It is the perfect way to experience the unique nature of this part of Iceland. Warmly recommended for both beginners and advanced riders, as the stable only take small groups and adjust the ride according to level of experience.

Toller Reiterhof mit einer netten Inhaberin. Wir waren an diesem Tag bzw. zu dieser Uhrzeit die einzigen Gäste und hatten somit eine „private Reitstunde“ 🙂 Die Pferde sind super trainiert und umgänglich, man braucht eigentlich keine Vorkenntnisse im Reiten. Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen.

Meravigliosa! Non c’è altra parola per descrivere l’esperienza! Siamo andati a spasso per un’ora in questo territorio vulcanico passando anche vicino al mare, per di più hanno permesso di cavalcare anche al nostro bimbo di 3 anni! Cavalli bravissimi ed equilibrati!

We were there in July / August 2018. We gave a call to the owner and everything went perfect! The meeting point were the stables „Arctic Horses“. Seems to be quite logical that they cannot wait the hole day waiting for accidental visitors....
Our grown-up boys were more than happy with the ride the very nice owner organised. A memorable experience absolutely not to miss! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, dear Arctic Horses Team!

Great experience of horse riding in the beautiful suroundings of Reykjanes peninsula. The lady was very nice, and brang my husband and I next to the sea to enjoy an amazing view of the landscape. The horses were very calm and followed one each other with no effort from us. I recommend it.
