I just have to thank Stéphanie for how helpful she was with us. We spend 3 nights there and enjoyed all of them. At first, she was our tenant but when we left she was like our friend. She gave us so many any advice and recommendation that amazed us during the trip!! She was always responsive amd kind to help us with anything. That's why, I will recommend at 100 percent.

Guesthouse valida con la proprietaria (Stephanie) molto disponibile e carina. Letti abbastanza comodi ma doccia difficile da dare bel bagno condiviso in quanto nella vasca con il muro sopra basso. Wi-Fi lento. Locali puliti. Zona condivisa carina.

A truly ideal hub for exploring the Westfjords. We were en route to Greenland, but stranded a few days due to weather and thankfully Stephanie's lovely guest house was still available. We drove up and spent 3 nights, taking in the beautiful drive, the spectacular hiking and geothermal baths, the small cultural hubs within a few minutes drive (like Isafjordour and Flateyri), and generally enjoying the spectacular views this little cottage provides. It's clean and basic, but that's all one needs out here.

Very nice house. The view is incredible, everything is just perfect!! You can see whales from the kitchen. It’s definitely one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever been in. The host is so nice, she gave us advices for our trip. Moreover the house is beautiful, there are pictures everywhere. You have pictures regarding to the name of your room. You may buy all the pictures you found pretty! Furthermore there are postcards in each room that you can buy.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa struttura per una notte. La signora è molto simpatica, anche troppo, ha fatto una battuta, non ho riso e se l'è presa. La camera è molto essenziale, un letto con due piumoni separati, una scrivania e un piccolo armadio. Il bagno ha la vasca, un lavandino, il water e manca come al solito il bidet. La cucina è funzionale, è attrezzata con molti elettrodomestici, posate, stoviglie ecc. Se vuoi andare al ristorante, in un pub oppure al centro commerciale devi fare 12 km e andare al paese successivo.

This was a great place to explore the Isafjordur area, including Bolungarvik and Skalavik. The host, Stephanie, was very nice. We spent 3 nights/days there and enjoyed them all. As a note, we were able to drive to both Skalavik and the viewing platform at Bolafjall with a standard 2W car, although both drives are gravel, bumpy and somewhat rough [it was dry while we were there]. There are cliff side sections and switchbacks on both.

in der Beschreibung war nicht ersichtlich, dass das Bad ein Gemeinschaftsbad für sechs Personen war. Küche und Gemeinschaftsraum waren eher groß, etwas verwohnt, und jetzt in der Pandemie ja auch nicht so doll. Wäre schon gut, man wüsste das vorher. Das Zimmer selbst war so winzig, dass gerade die beiden Bettchen reinpassten, wir haben nicht einmal die Koffer mit aufs Zimmer genommen, sondern nur Schlafanzug und Kulturbeutel und sind am nächsten Tag - entgegen unserer Planung - weiter gereist.
