We had Simone as our travel guide (pronounced with more of a Z sound) with this company and she was great. Our group of 14 loved her. The driver (both) was great as well. We loved having the private smaller van. SO worth it! Super clean and perfect for our group! Also use them, the company, for the northern lights…..don’t do the big bus thing. They were always on time and Simone was very knowledgeable. Loved hearing all the stories and history. Use this company when coming to Iceland and ask for Simone. (Sorry I can’t remember the drivers names, they were great too!)

I had an amazing time with Gj travel. Our guide Andreas (Andy) was brilliant and I learnt so much from him. He never tired-of answering questions and the pride of being from Iceland was evident. Ernie our driver was a gem, funny pleasant and got us all safely back to the hotel driving through bad weather conditions. The tour was perfect and we did so much in the day. The memories will last a lifetime

It was a great experience. We did the Northern Lights tour. It was short and concise and checked off all the boxes for getting in the most of Iceland in a short amount of time. The bus was nice. Our tour guide and bus driver were just the best! The tour guide was just a wealth of information and also multitalented…so he made our trip so much fun!

A great trip to many tourist attractions in a short time for a good value. Our tour guide Simone was funny, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver during an occasional white out condition. Due to challenging weather, the glacier walks were cancelled but Simone went out of her way so that we could visit the edge of it, along with all the other scheduled activities getting us their safely. We were able to experience the northern lights briefly one evening by the adorable Arhus Cottages being completely aware that there would be a chance of not seeing them simply because of Mother Nature. All that Iceland nature has to offer did not disappoint and perhaps my favorite top spot was the Fridheimar Icelandic horses and tomato greenhouse stop. It was a wonderful trip with friends made.

We did the Grand Tour of Iceland and it was FABULOUS. I'd done some research on Iceland and this included almost everything I'd listed to try and see, PLUS some I had no idea about. We'd also thought about just renting a car and going on our own, but having a driver / tour guide was WONDERFUL. We got to places I didn't know about, we learned a lot that I would not have found out about, and having a tour guide on the trip made a world of difference. I would HIGHLY recommend the Grand Tour of Iceland.
And a big shout out to our driver / guide! Martina was AWESOME and really made the trip 5 star.

Andre ice-cold 3000 (aka Mr Guide sir) was the man we needed to fulfil our iceland experience. His wisdom-filled fact bombs vastly improved our knowledge on a variety of topics. definitely the best tour guides per capita.
